GENERAL SUMMARY AND SCOPE
Responsible for administering, directing, planning and coordinating all medical, nursing and administrative functions related to Urgent Care within the clinical scope of a Nurse Practitioner.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Valid Ohio RN-license and Master’s Degree in the Science of Nursing;
Must be currently certified in CPR (and recertified bi-annually).
Nurse Practitioner, national certification, licensed and in good standing or eligible for licensure in the State of Ohio. Nurse Practitioner must be eligible for a DEA number and eligible for credentialing.

Ability to work in a safe and efficient manner and maintain an accident free work place, including ability to demonstrate a working knowledge of emergency codes.
Ability to comply with OSHA regulations and CDC standard and transmission based precaution recommendations and to utilize proper personal protective equipment. Ability to comply with provisions of applicable S.D.S. forms.
Interpersonal: Development and maintenance of effective relationship with medical and administrative staff, patients and the public. Ability to communicate effectively in writing and verbally. Skill in preparation and presentation of reports to FPG management as requested. Ability to remain calm and poised in urgent situations.
Critical Thinking: Assists in planning (strategic and short-term) and organizing. Skill in exercising initiative, judgment, problem solving, and decision making. Skill in analysis and interpretation of data, and preparation of reports. Skill in analyzing operational problems accurately and taking effective action. Ability to integrate priorities and deadlines and to avoid crises management.
Knowledge: Organization policies, procedures, systems and objectives. Fiscal management within budget guidelines and human resource management techniques.
